Hotel Bajazzurra
The Hotel Baja Azzurra is dipped in the green lawn of its garden where there is a luxuriant and reinvigorating nature full of different shades of flowers and the scent of myrtle and corbezzolo trees. You will find a worming welcome in a familiar context that has been well organized by the Deplano/Lai family, for more than ten years. It is a peaceful and relaxing place with all the facilities where you can spend your 2009 holidays.
SERVICES
At the ground floor are located the reception, the bar and the two restaurant rooms: one is inside and the other is outside, where in a romantic atmosphere you can have a candlelit dinner by the pool and taste the best local wines, among which our Cannonau. Our cuisine, just renewed in the management, offers a unique taste of the best local and typical Sardinian products and the Mediterranean cuisine. The half board menu changes every day and offers meat and fish dishes.
On Saturdays we prepare a typical Sardinian dinner with culurgiones (a typical Sardinian ravioli), pork roasted meat and roasted potatoes. The hotel’s vegetable garden produces everyday fresh genuine vegetables. It is possible to sunbath and relax either in the garden or by the pool, which is provided of a whirlpool bath, and it is either for children and adults. Free tennis courts (where you can rent rackets and tennis balls) and large parking complete the series of our services that we offer to our guests.
ROOMS
The Hotel has 21 rooms, 2 of this are supplied for disable people. All rooms have: a bathroom with shower and blow dryer, telephone, TV, air conditioning, heat and minibar.
All the rooms located at the first floor, doubles, triples and quadruples, have a balcony and a platform where it is eventually possible add another bed. Those located on the ground floor overlook the inner garden and the bigger ones have even a private porch with a table and chairs.
LOCATION
The Hotel Baja Azzurra is in Barisardo, a little town, in Ogliastra, on the central eastern coast of Sardinia. The building is just 250 meters far from the suggestive bay of the “Torre di Barì”, overlooked by the Spanish tower that has the same name, and there is a long beach wetted by the clear water of the Sardinian sea. By boat it is easy to reach the famous creeks of the gulf of Orosei. By car or by bicycle, in few minutes you can visit other creeks or beaches, archaeological sites and places of naturalistic interest.
The Hotel is easily reachable from the most important cities in the island. It is only 15 minutes by car from the Arbatax harbour. If you take the main road 125 that goes back south, Cagliari is only 130km far. Harbours and airports of north Sardinia are those of Olbia, far 195km, Porto Torres 255km and Alghero 220km. To reach us from the former, the second and the latter you have to take the main road 131 D.C.N. and when you arrive near Nuoro you take the route 389 and follow indications to Tortolì and than Barisardo.
