Trekking on the Gennargentu - Punta La Marmora

The mountains are harsh, barren and deserted from 1200m upwards, with their most famous peaks of Monte Spada, Bruncu Spina and Punta La Marmora, the highest at 1834 metres. Here you find rare plants, the muflon has found a safe refuge and the eagle, undisputed queen of the skies, flies over the heights.
On the slopes, isolated yew and holly trees has survived centuries of fires and uncontrolled wild grazing by animals. The countryside of dreams, where your gaze stretches into the distance from one side of the island to the other.
